The service
The site describes independent digital restoration of physically damaged photographs. Submitting a photograph is a request for assessment. It does not create an obligation to restore the image, and it does not guarantee that all damage can be repaired.
No guaranteed result
Photo restoration results depend on the condition of the source image and the amount of original visual information that remains. Descriptions on this website are general. They are not a promise that a particular print can be fully restored.
Your photographs
By sending an image, you represent that you have the right to submit it for this purpose — for example, that it is a family photograph in your care, or that you otherwise have authority to request restoration. You remain responsible for the original print and for how you use the restored file.
Original prints
You are not required to mail the original photograph. Assessment and restoration are done from a digital copy sent through photoreviv.com or to [email protected]. If you later choose to send an original print, shipping method and related terms will be agreed in writing first. Until that is arranged, the original should stay with you.
Fees and payment
Fees are confirmed with the restoration scope for each photograph. There is no single public price list, because the work depends on the condition of the print. Payment details are provided when the scope is agreed.
Website content
The text, layout, and example photographs on photoreviv.com are for information about the restoration service. Before-and-after images are studio examples unless they are later replaced with photographs from actual restoration projects.
Limitation of reliance
The educational descriptions of damage types are offered to help you understand common problems in old prints. They are not a conservation or appraisal service, and they are not an authentication of historical documents.
